Thank you everyone for your patience! I have found the perfect place to open Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine again! We opened on November 16th, 2019 at 902 N State Street in Bellingham, Washington.

Main Dishes

Served with Injera bread (regular or gluten-free) and your choice of a side.

  • Doro Wat: Chicken Stew.  A popular Ethiopian dish: Chicken leg or thigh simmers in spices, ginger, garlic and onion.  Served with boiled egg.  $13 full / $9.50 half
  • Yekik Wat: Yellow Split Pea Stew. Split yellow peas cooked with turmeric, ginger, garlic and onion.   $12 full / $8.50 half
  • Yemisir Wat: Green Lentil Stew. Green lentils cooked with spices, ginger, garlic and onion.  $12 full / $8.50 half
  • Alicha Wat: Lamb Stew.  Cubes of lamb cooked with turmeric, ginger, garlic and onion.  $14 full / $10 half
